Robbie Ballard Hornaday, 92, of Fordyce died Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at Cherry Ridge Guest Care in Bastrop, LA. She was born September 22, 1918 in Kingsland, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, A.D. Ballard and Allie McKinney Ballard; her husband, Bartee Hornaday; daughter, Melba Cox and great grandson, Grant Summerland. She is survived by one sister, Eloise Tipton of Fordyce; two grandchildren, Michael Cox of Fountain Hill and Connie Summerland of Crossett; two great grandchildren, Cora Vorhease and Kelsey Summerland both of Crossett; two great-great grandchildren, Grant Tankersley and Hayden Ward both of Crossett. Visitation will be Thursday 9:00 am until 4:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Graveside services will be 11:00 am Friday at McCoy Cemetery near New Edinburg with Rev. Justin Akers officiating.
