Rick Noack, 55, of Thornton, died Thursday June 5,2025 at his home. Born April 18, 1970 at Chicago IL, he was a son of the late Frederick Joseph Noack and Sophie Gretina Leinemann Noack. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Ralph Hillistad.
Rick is survived by his loving wife, Renee Clemons Noack of Thornton; and their beloved son, Austin Noack of El Dorado. He also leaves behind two brothers, Bill Hillistad of Hot Springs and Dan Hillistad of Chicago, IL; and one sister, Christine Knapp (Ray) of Conway.
Rick was a cherished uncle to three nieces, two nephews, and two great-nieces and four great-nephews.
He was deeply loved by his in-laws, Burris and Carolyn Clemons, as well as his brother-in-law, Bryan Clemons.
There was no project Rick couldn’t tackle. A Master Plumber with a wealth of knowledge across many trades, Rick was known for his skill and perfection. During his nearly 19 years of service at Home Depot, his exceptional customer care earned him the respect and friendship of many who came to know just what a kind and dependable man he was.
Rick was an amazing dad and an even more amazing husband. For 27 years, I had the profound blessing of sharing a truly loving and beautiful marriage with my best friend. He was my rock—steady, calming, and full of quiet strength. His laid-back, easygoing nature made life feel lighter, and his deep love and helpful heart made every day feel safe and full.
Though his passing feels too soon, I trust that heaven gained a truly great man. I believe God sees the full picture, even when I cannot.
Around here, we say, “He’s one of the good ones,” and my heart knows just how true that is.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. May his easygoing nature and the impact he made live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
