Richard Durwood McCullough, 75, of Rogers died Friday, September 28, 2018 at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, Arkansas. He was born July 14, 1943 in Camden, Arkansas. He was a retired accountant and a Vietnam War Veteran. During his enlistment he was awarded a Purple, Heart, Combat Action Ribbon, Service Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, and Vietnam Campaign Ribbon. He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry Durwood McCullough and Mary Frances Spears McCullough; one son, Gregory McCullough and paternal grandmother, Rose M. Johnson. He is survived by his former wife of thirty eight years, Teresa McCullough of Rogers; one son, Timothee McCullough of Jonesboro, and one step-son Christopher Childers of Haskell; one step-daughter, Terri Ledbetter of Rogers; three sisters, Karen McManus and Danita Bettis of Camden, Deborah Barkavitz of Plymouth, NC; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Thornton First Baptist Church in Thornton. Funeral services follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Bobby George officiating.
