We regretfully announce the passing of Rhonda Renee Peebles on May 5, 2022, at the age of 60, in Little Rock, AR. Renee was surrounded by family and passed away peacefully listening to her favorite music.
She was born in Buffalo, Oklahoma, on October 24th, 1961, to Norman and Clydean Jarvis.
Renee was preceded in death by her son Johnny Carl Peebles.
She is survived by her husband, Ray Peebles, children; Gaibrielle Hoffman and husband Jordan, Cassandra Vaden and husband Trey, Scotty Ray Peebles and wife Dianna, parents, Norman and Clydean Jarvis, sister Carrie Rhone, brother Clyde Jarvis, grandchildren; Jakob, Mason, Emma Mae, Billy, Sara, Ashtyn, Aunts; Sandra Lloyd and Laura Fitzgerald, nieces; Baylee and Blair, nephew, Parker, and numerous cousins all with whom she loved and cherished her relationship.
Growing up, Renee lived all over the United States. She lived in New York, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, Texas, Illinois, Iowa, and Indiana ending in Arkansas. Renee and Ray were married on March 16th, 1990, in Thornton, Arkansas, and had just recently celebrated 32 years of marriage. They loved music, cookouts, and spending time with friends.
She and Ray settled down and raised their family around the Fordyce area and most recently lived outside Bearden. Renee worked many jobs over the years, including Lyons Folders, Manager at Dollar General, and Assistant Activities Director at Fordyce Nursing Home. However, the majority of her life was spent being a homemaker, gardening, and taking care of her family and pets, who were also family. Renee loved to pass the time by reading, doing DIY projects around the house, doing arts and crafts, volunteering, and visiting with and helping friends. Renee made the best fudge, chicken and dressing, and fried deer steak that everyone in the family looked forward to having for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. Being a loving and generous Momma and Granny, Renee would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need. She was a Universal Donor, and she gave countless pints of blood throughout the years. Renee’s life ended much as she lived it. She was able to donate her organs and tissue to save the lives of others, which is something she has been passionate about over the years.
The family has requested that you consider a donation or volunteering in Renee’s honor to the following organizations as they were so important to her.
