Rebecca Jo Livingston, 60, of North Little Rock, formerly of Camden, died Wednesday March 11, 2009 at the North Ridge Nursing Home in North Little Rock. Mrs. Livingston was born in Macon, GA on July 19, 1948 to the late Joseph Benjamin & Hope Strickland Welch. She was a retired clerk for the Arkansas Department of Human Services, and a member of the Mt. Elba Missionary Baptist Church in New Edinburg, AR. Mrs. Livingston was a member of the Quazar Chapter of the Arkansas Council for the Blind for eight years, where she served as the president for five years, and on the board of directors for seven years. She also served on the Advisory Council for the Links Para Transit System in North Little Rock.
She is survived by her son, Cliff Livingston of North Little Rock, AR; a daughter, Missy Caldwell of Searcy, AR; a brother, Mack Welch of North Little Rock, AR; a sister, Connie Koonce of Pine Bluff, AR; four grandchildren, & two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Hugh Livingston; and a brother, Doug Welch.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday March, 14, 2009 at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel in Fordyce, with the Rev. Howard Loetscher officiating. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce. To sign the online register visit www.bentonfuneralhome.com
