Reba Jessie Rhoads

Reba Jessie Johnson Rhoads, 98, of Kingsland, Arkansas, died January 19, 2014, at St. Vincent Hospice. She was born February 23, 1915, to the late Clifton and Nettie Johnson.

Reba was a member of Kingsland United Methodist Church. She was a retired office manager for Martin Brothers Gas Company and former treasurer of the Kingsland Cemetery Association. She enjoyed traveling with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Rhoads, and brother, Clifton Johnson. Survivors are daughters, Mary Ann Grice (Virgil) of Pine Bluff; Charlene Thomas (Sercy) of Crossett; granddaughters, Karen Laing (Greg) of Little Rock, Gayle Robbins (Stephen) of Fort Smith; great-grandchildren, Rachel and Dean Robbins; nephew, Bill Johnson (Maxine) and family of Shreveport.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 21, 2014, at 12:30 pm, with funeral at 1:30 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Burial will follow at Kingsland Cemetery.
