Rachel Mae Turner, 78, of Fordyce died Tuesday, December 06, 2011 at St. John's Place of Fordyce. She was born May 3, 1933 in San Antonio, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rudy Tijerina and Alice Quesenberrry Tijerina and husband, Barnie Paul Turner. She is survived by one son, Paul Timothy Turner of Carthage, TX; two daughters, Leilani Turner of Ottawa, IL, Debbie Eckert of Conway; one brother, Robert of San Diego, CA; two sisters, Rose and Dora both of Pasadena, CA; three grandchildren, Larla Grandadam of Ottawa, IL, Sophie Eckert of Silver Springs, MD, Victor Turner of Carthage, TX; and one great grandchild, Katlyn Grandadam of Ottawa, IL. Visitation will be Wednesday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce with Rev. John Fimple officiating.
