Phil Swofford

Grady Phil Swofford, 71, of Hampton died Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Ouachita County Medical Center in Camden. He was born February 27, 1946 in Banks, Arkansas. He was a retired logging contractor. He is preceded in death by his parents, Loyd Swofford and Marjorie Watson Odom;wife, Sondra Gilbert Swofford; one daughter, Tina Rowland; and son-in-law, Jerrell Rowland. He is survived by one brother, Robert Odom of Crossett; one sister, Lori Ann Odom of Banks; three grandchildren, Tommy Rowland of Hampton, Taylor Sweeney of El Dorado, Katie Rowland of Maumelle; seven great grandchildren, Conner Rowland and Kypton Rowland of Hampton, Ava Sweeney, Bella Sweeney, Jax Sweeney, Case Sweeney all of El Dorado, and Wyatt Coke of Maumelle; and his beloved pet, Bumper. Visitation will be Sunday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Hampton. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Monday at Hampton First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Rickey Smith officiating.
