Peggy Charlotte Bryant

Peggy Charlotte Bryant, 64, of Fordyce, passed away June 14, 2012. She was born on November 13, 1947 in Smackover, AR, to the late Preston Cranford and to Lena Cranford.

Peggy was a hard working lady, owning several stores in her 31 years of retail. After retiring shortly, she accepted a job at a Foster Home, (Grandma's House), then she accepted a final job at the Fordyce Branch of Sparkman Learning Center, as their new director.

Peggy was preceded in death by her father, Preston Cranford, & sister-in-law Debra Cranford.

Peggy is survived by her mother, Lena Cranford of Fordyce, AR; her husband, Bob Bryant of Fordyce, AR; two sons, Gary Duncan & his wife Tracy of Fort Worth, TX, Rob Bryant & his wife Jennifer of Fordyce, AR; four grandchildren, Chasity Meador, Sherrilynn Vanhorn & her husband Jeremy, Aaron Hall, & Andrew Duncan all of Fort Worth, TX, Two brothers, Carroll Holmes & his wife Linda of Fordyce, AR, Don Cranford & his wife Nancy of Fordyce, AR; A sister, Paulette Gray of Fordyce, AR; & several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday June 16, 2012 at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Bryant Cemetery, with the Rev. B.L. Blann & Rev. Rodney Grice officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Friday evening at the funeral home in Fordyce. Memorials may be made to the Bryant Cemetery, or Life Touch Hospice of El Dorado, AR.
