Peggie Ruth Pennington

Peggie Ruth Pennington, 80 of Sparkman, died Monday, June 24, 2024. She was born March 17, 1944 in Eaglette, Arkansas to the late Henry Owens and Abby Garner. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George David Pennington; two brothers, Billy Owens and Roland Owens.
She is survived by two sons, David Richard Pennington of Holly Springs and Kevin Duane Pennington of Ouachita; two daughters, Terri Carter (Russell) of Ouachita and Rebecca Sorrells (Greg) of Harmony Grove; grandchildren, Rodney Pennington of Hot Springs, Ricky Pennington and Ray Pennington of Holly Springs, Nichole McMullen of Ouachita, Brett Carter of Ouachita, Gage Pennington and Wyatt Pennington of Arkadelphia, and Hope Grider of Holly Springs; brothers, Bobby Owens of Avenal, CA, John Do-I Owens of Fordyce, and Ted Owens (Beth) of Eaglette; a host of great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be Wednesday morning, June 26, 2024 from 9AM until 10AM at Holly Springs Cemetery. Graveside services will follow at 10AM at Holly Springs Cemetery with Brother Wayne Daniel officiating. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
