Pearline Kelly Mathews, 87 of Carthage, Arkansas passed away at her home on April 9, 2010. She was born on May 10, 1922 to the late Earl and Mertie Myers Kelly. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, James Mathews; one brother, James Ed Kelly; and one sister, Coy Mae Parker.
She is survived by her son James Charles Mathews; her daughter, Ginger Carol Mathews; two grandchildren, Michelle Mitchell and Mark Thompson; three great grandchildren, Brittany Thorn, Rylee Thompson, and Alex Thompson; two sisters, Verneda Stewart and Alyce Bush; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday at 10 AM at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel in Fordyce. Burial will be at Tulip Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6 PM until 8 PM at Benton Funeral Home.
