Paula was a member of Beech Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Fordyce. She also dedicated many years of work at Arkansas Heart Hospital and Little Rock Cardiology.

Paula was a great friend to all. She had a heart full of love for her family. She got happiness in being a devoted Daughter, Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Friend. She was always there for any of them throughout their lives. She loved caring and doing for others, especially her mother. There came a time when her health kept her from doing many things she loved to do.

She was affectionately known as Mom, Paula Jane, PJ, Maw P, P2. She enjoyed and loved the simple pleasures in life, including riding horses, wagon rides, camping, swimming, and being with family and friends. She loved to laugh and could certainly be the life of the party. She was also a loyal Dallas Cowboys fan who loved watching and cheering on her team.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 3 at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce from 6 to 8 PM. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, November 4 at 11 AM at Benton Funeral Home with her cousin, Bro. Dennis Burke officiating. Burial will follow at Stoney Point Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers are Rodney Wallace, Justin Mire, Ruston Mire, Josh Mire, Greg Dust and MJ Chambers.

The family would like to extend a special Thank You to Lara Tatum, the administration and staff of Dierksen Hospice in Texarkana for their exceptional care, kindness and compassion shown to Paula during her illness.
