Paul Raymond Blankenship

Paul Raymond Blankenship, 91, of Fordyce died Monday June 15, 2015 at the Dallas County Medical Center. Born November 13, 1923 at Newberg, he was a son of the late Loren and Althea Rodman Blankenship. He was retired from the Arkansas State Highway Department and a member of Fordyce First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a son, Wendell Blankenship, an infant son, and five brothers. He is survived by his wife, Archie Everett Blankenship of Fordyce; three sons, Ronald Blankenship and wife, Sherry of Baron, OK, Donald Blankenship and wife, Linda of Fordyce, Richard Blankenship of Fordyce; three brothers, Wayne, Carl, and Dean, and a sister, June; grandchild, Katie Dillard and husband, Dewayne of Yukon, OK; great grandchild, Graham Dillard. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Dillard officiating. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Food Pantry.
