Pattie Jo Speer

Pattie Jo Speer Dempsey age 89 of Hampton went to her eternal home on Friday, March 29, 2019. She was born in Tinsman on November 23, 1929 to the late Guy Tucker Speer and Bedie Mae Moore Speer. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of thirty five years Thomas Jackson (Jack) Dempsey; one sister, Martha Sue Lindsey; and one brother, Joe Gordon Reaves.
Pattie is survived by her husband, Edd Dempsey of the home; three daughters, Donna Jo Burson of Hampton, Vickie Janel Little and husband John Mark of Heavener, OK, and Donna Dempsey of Ft. Worth, TX; one sister, Billie Jean Avant of Hampton; seven grandchildren, Trisha Acord and husband Wayne, Brandon Schinz and wife Carrie, Justin Schniz, John Blake Little and wife Nicole, Dustin Little and wife Nicole, Jared Dempsey, and Erick Dempsey; and eight great grandchildren.
Pat was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and a longtime resident of the Hampton area. She was a homemaker and the best cook ever. She loved her family and enjoyed watching the Arkansas Razorbacks play basketball.
The family would like to thank everyone in the emergency room and CCU unit along with the Dr’s at Baptist Health in Little Rock.
Visitation will be 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at Benton Funeral Home in Hampton. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Wednesday at Antioch Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Nutt and Rev.
