Patsy Ann Clemons Nix

Patsy Ann Clemons Nix, 73, of Thornton died Sunday, March 12, 2017 at Life Touch Hospice in El Dorado. She was born March 5, 1944 in Aubrey, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harvey Brown Clemons and Floy McGuire Clemons; husband, David Wilson Nix; one grandson, Justin Nix. She is survived by one son, Harvey Nix of Fayetteville; three sisters, June Hopkins, who Patsy lived with for the last nine years of her life on the family farm near Thornton along with her four legged "kids", Robbie Burrow of Yellville, and Deborah Jackson of Big Sandy, TN; two grandchildren, Ashley and Avery Nix of Fayetteville; one great grandchild, Bentley Sanders of Fayetteville; special friends Earline Johnson and Angie Stewart; three nephews and one loving niece, Kim Love. Graveside services will be 3:30 pm Tuesday at Bethel Cemetery near Bearden with Rev. Tyler Harris officiating. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
