Patsy Faye Childress

Patsy Faye Childress, age 85 of New Edinburg died Monday, October 14, 2024. She was born September 28, 1939 in Cleveland County, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Alexander Garlington and Willia Faye Elliott Garlington; husband, Freddie Childress; one daughter, Freda Childress; and one sister, Emily Ann Hutchins. Patsy is survived by one son, Jeff Childress of New Edinburg; two daughters, Angela Dickman of New Edinburg, Tanya Trivett Brown and husband Thomas J. Brown, III of Fayetteville, GA; two brothers, Troy Garlington of Benton, Greg Garlington of Graham, TX; seven grandchildren, Clint (Victoria) Childress of Fordyce, Sarah (Justin) Bailey of Monticello, Abbie (Lathan, Jr.) Erwin of Fordyce, Truston (Shelly) Dickman of New Edinburg, Evan (Katie) Trivett of Newnan, GA, Grace (Matthew) Westmoreland of Smyrna, GA, Austin (Jenie) Trivett of Newnan, GA; and nine great grandchildren.
