Orvall Loyd Berg, 93 of Fordyce died Sunday November 26, 2017 at his home. Born June 2, 1924 at Stuttgart, he was a son of the late Frank Berg and Gaynell Shrum Berg.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Verda McDade Berg; four sisters; one brother; and four step-sons. He is survived by his two nephews and caregivers, Danny R. Golden and James T. Golden of Kingsland; two special grandchildren, Thomas R. Stringfellow of Thornton and Tonya Rawls of Wilmar; five step-children, Judy King of Fordyce, Frances White of Fordyce, Rebecca "Becky" Sims of Bryant, Tony Stringfellow of Sheridan, Marvin "Bubba" Stringfellow of Kingsland; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, friends and other relatives.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Ebenezer Cemetery. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce. To sign the online register visit www.bentonfuneralhome.net .
