Orlin Wayne Speer

Orlin Wayne Speer, 77 of Fordyce, died Saturday, November 21, 2009. He was born April 11, 1932 in Warren, Arkansas to the late Robert and Audrey Moore Speer. Mr. Speer was a retired Foreman for Gergia-Pacific, & a member of the Tinsman First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his daughter Monica Jones and husband Randall of Fordyce; two sisters, Shirley Hughes of Parsons, TN and Sue Palmer of Hurst, TX; two grandchildren, Angie Pamplin & her husband Don of Fordyce, AR, Chris Jones & his wife Misty of Saline, LA; six great grandchildren, Harley Burkhart of Fordyce, AR, Dalton, Cole & Logan Pamplin of Fordyce, AR, & Joshua & Jacob Jones of Saline, LA; a host of nieces and nephews; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bettye Dove Williams Speer.
Funeral services will be Monday at 2 PM at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Buddy Burton and Rev. Nathan Petty officiating. Burial will be at Newton Cemetery.
