Ora Olirea Steelman Cathey, 94 of Thornton, died Thursday, December 17, 2015. She was born October 27, 1921 in Thornton to the late T.B. and Ada Hodge Sessions. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Franklin Coby Steelman and Travis Cathey, and her son Franklin Coby Steelman, Jr.
She is survived by her son Jerry W. Steelman and wife Kim of Golden, Texas; her brother Wesley Sessions and wife Marcell of Chambersville; her sister Sadie Sessions Haynes of Monticello; two grandchildren, Karen Steelman of Maumelle and Jessica Bray of Seattle, Washington; and two great grandsons, Abner and Aaron Bray both of Seattle.
Visitation will be Friday from 1PM until 2PM at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will follow at 2PM. Burial will then be in Calaway Cemetery near Thornton. To sign the online register visit www.bentonfuneralhome.net .
