Opal Maxine Dedman

Opal Maxine Dedman, 87, of Fordyce died Monday, October 7, 2013 at Dallas County Medical Center in Fordyce. She was born February 22, 1926. She was a homemaker and a member of Burnt Ridge Baptist Church in Clinton, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry Cornett and Fannie Belle Stringfellow Jackson; husband, Carlton Dedman; two sons, Earnest Sipes and Henry Sipes; and two brothers, Hubert Cornett and Odis Cornett. She is survived by one daughter, Linda Hammond of Fordyce; five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce.
