Odie Haynes Doherty

Odie Haynes Doherty, 89, of Bearden died Monday, June 6, 2011. She was born January 16, 1922 in Calhoun County. She was a retired CNA for Ouachita County Health Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, W.W. Haynes and Emma Williams Haynes; husband, Doyle J. Doherty; sons, James Dale Doherty and Billy Dean Doherty. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Robin Stiles of Bearden; sister, Christine Reynolds of Hampton; nephew, Julius Paul Nelson of Anniston, AL; four grandchildren, Tim Doherty of Lonoke, Toni Green of Bearden, Michelle Clemons of Grapevine, Terri Davis of Sheridan; and nine great grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Bearden. Graveside services will be 10:00 am Wednesday at Moss Cemetery in Bearden with Rev. Tim Doherty officiating.
