Norma Jean Cox, 90, of Kingsland went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 4, 2017, at her home. She was born December 25, 1926. She was the daughter of the late George Riffe and Dora Riffe. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Edward Odell Cox, infant daughter, Joyce Jean Cox, and brother, Gilbert Riffe.
She is survived by her children, Don Cox, and wife Martha, and Vicki Peters and husband Mike, all of Kingsland, two sisters Lona Laughlin of Seligman, MO, and Veryl Dean Poston of Pea Ridge, AR, brother Curtis Riffe of Lee Summit, MO, 7 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Benton Funeral Home on Sunday, August 6, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 7, 2017 at Kingsland Cemetery with Derek Peters and Dusty Rhodes officiating.
