Nora Janice Dickens Hopper, 77, of Fordyce died Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at St. John's Place in Fordyce. She was born June 1, 1935 in Bradley County, Arkansas. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Fordyce. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Wesley Dickens and Pearl E. King Dickens; husband J. Wilmar Hopper; two brothers, Shelby Dickens and C.W. Dickens; and one sister, Nancy Carolyn Doss. She is survived by one sister, Joycie Conoly of Bryant; two nieces, one nephew, six great nephews, one great niece, one cousin (caregiver), Janet Post of Kingsland; and sister-in-law, Florence Dickens of Bryant. Memorials may be made to Southside Baptist Church in Fordyce or to Gideons International. Visitation will be Thursday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce.
