Nelline Rippy

Mrs. Lillian Nelline Rippy, 91 of Fordyce, joined her loved ones in Heaven Thursday evening, December 4th, 2014. Nelline was first and foremost a devoted wife, loving mother and homemaker. She was a cashier early in life and later worked as a part-time bookkeeper for Sidney, her husband. Nelline was a dedicated Christian lady who was loved by all who knew her. As stated in Isaiah 66:2, she was "humble and contrite in spirit". She had a servant's heart and was so caring toward others.

Nelline was loved deeply by her family and friends and will truly be missed. We love you!

She was preceded in death by her parents Arlie and Iris Williams Thompson and her husband John Sidney Rippy.

She is survived by her son Terry Michael Rippy and wife Victoria of the Philippines; daughter Karen Rippy Harris of Sherwood; four grandchildren, Mark Rippy and wife Nikki of Searcy, Alexandria Rippy of the Philippines, Kristin Harris of Seattle, Washington, Lauren Harris Ashley and husband Andy of Vilonia; and four great grandchildren, Ryan and Lilly Rippy of Searcy and AZ and Slayton Ashley of Vilonia.

Visitation will be Monday evening from 6PM until 8PM at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 2PM Tuesday at Beech Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Mosley Cemetery.
