Nellie Jean "Patty" Johnston

Nellie Jean "Patty" Jarrett Johnston, 86, of North Little Rock died Sunday June 9, 2013 at Baptist Medical Center in North Little Rock. Born October 4, 1926 at Hermitage, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Faye Lula Hines Jarrett. She was a telephone operator and a member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Nancy Johnston; her son, Guy Johnston; and her brother, Guy S. Jarrett. Patty is survived by her husband, W.M. "Jake" Johnston of North Little Rock; daughter, Margaret Johnston Bush of North Little Rock; son Jeffrey Johnston of Little Rock; three grandchildren, Andru Bush, Stacy Nelson, and Greg Nelson; and eight great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Oakland Cemetery.
