Nell Mitchell Rogers Robbins

Nell Mitchell Rogers Robbins, 93 of Fordyce passed away Wednesday September 1, 2010. She was born February 6, 1917 to Willie and Holly Sturgis Mitchell. She was a Member of the Fordyce First United Methodist Church and loved her family and growing flowers and gardening. Everyone enjoyed her beautiful yard. They might not know her, but knew her beautiful yard with all her flowers. Nell was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 40 years, Ottis Rogers, husband of 2 years, George Robbins; two brothers, Bert and Raymond Mitchell; three sisters, Virginia Johnson, Lola Appling and Mildred McCallister. She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn (Ron) Carlson of El Dorado, Lynette (Roland) Endres of Stuttgart; three grandsons, Tony Crain of Jersey, AR, Tim (Bridget) Crain of El Dorado, Scott Endres of Stuttgart; one granddaughter, Sonya Wiggins of Stuttgart; three great-grandsons, Joshua Crain of El Dorado, Weston Jines of Ash Flat, AR, Hunter Endres of Stuttgart; three great-granddaughters, Ashley Endres of Stuttgart, Macy and Marley Jines of Ash Flat. Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at Oakland Cemetery. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
