Nathaniel Harrison Berry

Nathaniel Harrison Berry, 92 of Ivan, Arkansas, died Tuesday, August 07, 2012 at his home. He was born October 30, 1919 in Fordyce, Arkansas to the late Edgar and Rosie Ella Sessions Berry. We was a retired forester for Georgia Pacific where he worked for 28 years. He was also an Army World War 2 veteran and was a P.O.W. for 14 months in Germany. He was preceded in death by his wife Mildred Elizabeth Hurst Berry.

He is survived by six children: Kenneth Berry and wife Vivian of Ivan, Robert E. "Bob" Berry and wife Connie of Fordyce, Nena Berry Clement and husband Myles of Sheridan, Deberah Berry Brooks and husband Jack of Mabelvale, Joyce Berry Hearitige and husband Frank of Bismarck, and Mark Berry of Panama City, Florida; one sister Martha Hurst of Ivan; 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild; and several step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6 PM until 8 PM at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 10 AM Friday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel.
