Nancy Jane Harvill

Nancy Jane Jones Bowen Harvill, age 34 years old. She graduated from Fordyce High School in 1997. Nancy was a sweet, kind, loving and gentle lady who never met a stranger. She was a loving mother and friend. Nancy always had a smile on her face; she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was born May 24, 1978 in Grand Rapids, MI to Mary Jane Bowen Jones and Homer H. Jones, Jr. She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Jane Bowen. She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Mathew Thomas Jones Bowen and David James (D.J.) Harvill and husband, Gray Lee Harvill and two step-sons, Gray Lee Harvill, II and Jessie Lee Harvill, II all of Fordyce; her father, Homer H. Jones Jr. of Grand Rapids, MI; sisters, Vickie Root of LA, Karen Wilson of FL, Brenda Bowen of IN, and Trudy Bowen of MI; brothers, James Schmitzer of NM, David Schmitzer of CA, Edward Bowen, Joe Jones, Peter Jones and Adam Jones all of MI; and step mother, Judy Jones of MI; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Memorial services will be 4:00 Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Her ashes will be interned at a later date near her mother's grave at Oakland Cemetery in Fordyce.
