Myrtice House passed away on Monday, September 20, 2010 in Fordyce, Arkansas at St. John's Place. She was blessed with living for 94 years. She was born to the parents of Willie and Beulah Pennington, on July 29, 1916 in Bucksnort, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie House. She worked at Gibson's and volunteered on vote day counting ballots for many years, both which she loved doing.
She is survived by her only son, Kenneth House and his wife, Mary of Carlisle, PA, her grandchildren, Sandy Bragg and her husband, Rex, and Kenley House and his wife Heather also of Carlise, PA. She was also blessed with five great-grandchildren, who she enjoyed bragging about, Zach, Zane, And Mackenzie Bragg and Josh and Nicholas House, all of Carlisle, PA. She is also survived by a special sister-in-lawJanice Gray, who helped so much in her final years. Other survivers, a sister-in-law, Marle Pennington and nieces, nephews and many friends. She was also preceded in death by a sister Nellie Mae Ford and a brother Virgel Pennington.
She would always say she wasn't worth a nickel, but she will forever mean the world to us. Our family would like to express our gratitude to the staff at St. John's Place for their loving care, also, to Dr. Nutt for his care and advice.
Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Thursday at the Stoney Point Cemetery, with Brother Dusty Rhodes officiating.
