Melinda Jo Evans Yossett, 54 of Fordyce died Thursday June 8, 2017. She was born February 7, 1963 at Fordyce to the late Lavoid Edward Evans and JoAnn Mosley Evans. She was preceded in death by her brother, Steve Evans; grandparents, Lacy and Minnie Evans and Herman and Bertha Mosley.
She is survived by her son, Peter Hardman and wife, Beth of Fordyce; grandchildren, Mallory and Evan Hardman; nieces, Samantha Evans of Thornton and Savannah Evans of Hensley; nephew Spencer Evans of Maumelle; great-niece, Blakely Evans; great-nephew, Brantley Jones-Smith; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends Saturday June 10, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce with services beginning at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Evans Cemetery.
