May Rose Marks

May Rose (Mitzi) Marks, 85 of Fordyce passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at St. John's Place of Arkansas, She was born January 21, 1925 in St. Louis, MO. She was married to the late William I. Marks of Fordyce on January 4, 1945. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Marks Worrell of Pine Bluff; son, William R. Marks of Mackenbach, Germany; and daughter, Celeste Marks Hall of Fordyce; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. A private family graveside service will take place Saturday, January 8 at Oakland Cemetery. Brother Todd Howard from Watson Chapel Baptist Church will preside. Memorials may be sent to the First Baptist Church of Fordyce Building Fund, 501 North Main Street, Fordyce, AR 71742.
