Maxine Crawford Hornaday

Maxine Crawford Hornaday, 79, of Hampton died Sunday, September 29, 2013 at her home. She was born November 4, 1933 in Hampton, Arkansas. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Hampton and a retried administrator for South Central Arkansas Community Action Agency. She is preceded in death by her parents, Theodore Crawford and Mellie Rowland Crawford; four brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her husband, Jesse L. Hornaday of Hampton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Alan and Sheila Hornaday of Gunter, TX, Mark and Kristy Hornaday of Hampton; one daughter and son-in-law, Frances and Rick Shirron of Hampton; two sisters, Barbara Carter of Brewton, AL and Wanda Johnson of Mabelvale; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Wednesday at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce with Rev. Clint Ritchie officiating.
