Mavis Sue Gray

Mavis Sue Boyd Gray, 64, of Fordyce died Wednesday July 22, 2009 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. Born January 21, 1945 at Ada, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of the late James Elmer and Mavis Lillian Sawyer Boyd. She was also preceded in death by a son, Doyle Gene Allen and two brothers, Ronnie Darwin Boyd and Cecil David Boyd. Mrs. Gray was a member of Chambersville Baptist Church and the Auxiliary of the American Legion. She is survived by her husband, James W. Gray of Fordyce; a son, James T. Allen of Hot Springs; a daughter, Terri Devona Murphy of Glen Rose, TX; two brothers, Jimmie Gayle Boyd and Donald Wayne Boyd; eighteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Dillard officiating.
