Mattie Lou Reddin, 95 of Hampton, died Wednesday February 10, 2016 in El Dorado. She was an elder and a member of the Campground Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Hampton. Mattie Lou was born December 14, 1920 in Fordyce, AR to the late David Nelson Rogers and Beulah Iona Harrison Rogers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Audis Reddin, her brothers R.C. and Fletcher Rogers, and her sisters, Marie Strickland, Velma Oliver, Ruby Fay Rogers, Reba Nichols, and her son-in-law, Nick Pederson.
She is survived by one son, David Reddin and wife Sylvia of Hampton; two daughters, Anne Strickland and husband James of Hampton, and Rockie Pederson of Russellville; one sister, Mary Nell Jordan of El Dorado; four grandchildren, Brian and Reese Strickland, Suzanne Parker, and Allison Culp; and ten grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday evening 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Hampton. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Campground Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Hampton. Burial will follow at Campground Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Campground Cemetery. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Hampton/Fordyce.
