Mattie Marie Cosby

Mattie Marie Earnest Cosby, 89, of Hampton died Monday June 29, 2015 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff. Born January 25, 1926 at Tinsman, she was a daughter of the late Garland and Martha King Earnest. She was a Baptist and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Cosby; and a daughter, Levenda Cosby. She is survived by a son, Don Cosby and his wife, Mona of Hampton; daughter, Pam Wages and husband, David of Hampton; brother, Terrell Earnest of Fordyce; sister, Hazel Hand of Hampton; a granddaughter, Lindsey Wages of Hampton; and one special little girl, Addie Landon. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Hampton. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel in Fordyce with Rev. Mike Nutt officiating. Burial will follow at Earnest Cemetery.
