Mary Sue Sorrells, 82, of Holly Springs died Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Dallas County Medical Center in Fordyce. She was born December 27, 1935 in Bearden, Arkansas. She was a member of White Oak Assembly of God Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank Smith and Clara Moore Smith; one sister, Joann Smith; daughter, Dorothy Coke; and two great grandchildren, Korbin Castleberry and Jade Elise Moore. She is survived by her loving husband of sixty seven years Hulen Sorrells; one son Lynn (Bonnie) Sorrells of Holly Springs; one daughter, Carol (Billy) Wisdom of Glenwood; two sisters, Audrey Mae “Dottie” Lambert and Katie “Tootsie” (Maurice) Williams both of Glenwood; six grandchildren, Scott Coke of Camden, Mary (Jarrod) Ivy of Glenwood, Justin (Sydney) Castleberry of Magnolia, Johnny Castleberry of Sheridan, Brittany Coke of Camden, Elizabeth Sorrells of Holly Springs; six great grandchildren, Allison & BJ Coke whom she raised for the last ten years, Carolina and James Ivy, and Aidan and Ainsleigh Castleberry; and many nieces, and nephews that she loved as her own. And one special great niece that she helped raise, Mandi Prados of Hot Springs. The family would like to thank the nurses from Kendrick for the care and compassion shown to Mary Sue and her family. Also thanking the doctors and nurses at Dallas County Medical Center for their care and compassion. Visitation will be Monday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Bearden.
