Mary Janette Lynn

Mary Janette Lynn, age 92 of Fordyce passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born January 9, 1933 in Fordyce to the late Newman Alexander Barnes and Verna Marie Hardman Barnes. She was a homemaker, mother and a member of First Baptist Church in Fordyce.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, William “Bill” Lynn.

She is survived by two sons, Rusty Lynn and his wife, Carol of Springfield, MO and Jerry Lynn and his wife, Holly of Lafayette, LA; one daughter, Linda Culp and her husband, Jim of Fordyce; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Hooks, Kelli Wright, John Michael Lynn, Chris Lynn, Jase Harton, Janna Huneycutt, and Anna Lynn; and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce with funeral services following at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Michael Ivy officiating. Burial at Stoney Point Cemetery in Fordyce. Pallbearers will be John Lynn, Jase Harton, Josh Huneycutt, Jonathan Hooks, Hal Graves, Todd Hardman. Honorary pallbearers are Todd Lamb and Chris Lynn.
