Mary S. Johnson

Mary S. Johnson, age 95 of Hampton passed away Friday, May 1, 2026 at Timberlane Health and Rehab in El Dorado, Arkansas. She was born February 13, 1931 in Tippah County, Mississippi. She was a homemaker and a member of the Hampton Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her parents, Enoch Smith and Anna Johnson Smith; husband, Robert Lynn Johnson; and great grandson, Benjamin Hannegan. She is survived by three daughters, Cathy (James) Hopper of El Dorado, Candy (Mike) Strickland of Hampton, Kim (Russell) Whitmer of Hampton; ten grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Hampton. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at New Hope Cemetery with Rev. Brandon Evans officiating.
