Mary Helen Hagins

Mary Helen Hagins, 86 of Fordyce died Sunday August 23, 2026 at her home. Born December 12, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Garland Leamons and Frances Case Leamons.

She was a member of Smith Chapel Church of God, and the retired bookkeeper from Hagins Garage and Towing.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Wayne Hagins, a grandson, Patrick Hagins; a brother, James Leamons, and a sister, Lillie Leamons. She is survived by three sons, John Hagins and wife, Nancy of Fordyce, Doug Hagins and wife Leta of Alexander, Garry Hagins and wife Diane of Hot Springs; two sisters, Hazel Jennings of Vilonia, Charlotte Slater of Arkadelphia; six grandchildren, Tracy Haplin, Gloria Hagins, Bonnie Fetke, David Hagins, Garry Hagins, Christina Conley; and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at Smith Chapel Church of God with visitation starting one hour before the service. Burial will follow at Holly Springs Cemetery. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce. To sign the online register visit www.bentonfuneralhome.net.
