Mary Jane Barrett

Mary Jane McConnell Barrett, 89 of Bearden died Friday January 9, 2015 at Dallas County Medical Center in Fordyce. Born October 7, 1925 at Booneville, she was a daughter of the late James and Sarah Wilkens McConnell. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Barrett. She is survived by two sons, Wayne E. Barrett of South Fork, CO, David E. Barrett of Bearden; two daughters Judy Parker of Bearden, Janet Hopkins of Thornton; sixteen grandchildren and twenty six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel.
