Mary Helen Arnold

Mary Helen Arnold, 78 of Bearden, died Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Select Specialty Hospital in Little Rock. She was born June 14, 1933 in Bearden, Arkansas. She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Bearden. Mary Helen had served on the Bearden School Board, Bearden City Council, Ouachita County Equalization Board and Democratic polling committee for Bearden. She was also retired from I TT. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dave Clemons and Vellow Mosley Clemons; husband, John Wayne Arnold; sister, Erma Castleberry and great grandson, Justin Wayne Arnold. She is survived by two sons, David Arnold and wife Debbie of Camden, Randy Arnold of Bearden; two daughters, Dianne Shipp and husband Dwight of Rosston, Sherrie Green and husband Bobby of Bearden; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and one great great-grandchild. Memorials may be made to Moss Cemetery Association or First Southern Baptist Church in Bearden. Visitation will be Monday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Bearden. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday at First Southern Baptist Church in Bearden with Jackie Bevill and Russell Fridell officiating. Burial at Moss Cemetery in Bearden.
