Marvin O. Weeks

Marvin O. Weeks, 81 of Fordyce, died Saturday, May 29, 2010 at his home. He was born October 17, 1928 in Kingsland, Arkansas to the late Grady and Augusta Brandon Weeks. He was a Christian, a Mason and was a superintendent at several lumber companies. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter Jenny Weeks, a grandson James Craig Freer, and a brother Buddy Weeks.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Weeks of Fordyce; two sons, Randy Weeks and wife Mary Ann of Sheridan and Larry Weeks of Fordyce; three daughters, Marilyn Freer and husband Sonny of Kingsland, Barbara Stedman and husband Danny of Sherwood, Karen Dust and husband Greg of Thornton; three brothers, Billy, Roy, and James Weeks; four sisters, Dorothy Calhoun, Margie Free, Betty Jean Newton, and Patsy Lisemby; 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, special pet companion Billy Bob, and numerous relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 31, 2010 at Kingsland Cemetery with Bro. Jeff Blevins officiating.
