Marvin Bob Burford, 66, of Fordyce died Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Life Touch Hospice in El Dorado, Arkansas. He was born September 13, 1948 in Fordyce, Arkansas. He was a graduate of Arkansas A&M with a Bachelor of Science in Forestry. He spent his 40 year career with Georgia-Pacific as a forester/procurement manager. He is preceded in death by his parents Woodrow Burford and Margaret Garner Burford; and nephew, Gordon Smith. He is survived by his wife Brenda Burford of Fordyce; son, Dru Burford and wife Heather of Crossett; daughter, Terri Guess and husband Josh of Brandon, MS; sister, Lula Ann Smith of Little Rock; nephew, Brian Smith of Little Rock; four grandchildren, Brady and Blake Burford of Crossett, Clara and Collier Guess of Brandon, MS. Visitation will be Thursday 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the family home in Fordyce. Family and friends will leave 9:30 am Friday in funeral procession from Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce to Canada/Kennedy Cemetery. Graveside services will be 10:00 am Friday at Canada/Kennedy Cemetery with Rev. Harry Puterbaugh officiating. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Tributes, P.O.
