Martha Evelyn Gwin, 85 of Fordyce, died Sunday, July 12, 2009 at her home. She was born September 16, 1923 in Dallas County to the late Ed and Bertha Gill Hearne.
She was preceded in death by three brothers: Raymond, Cecil, and Judson Hearne and two sisters, Eddie Mae Lowe and Alla Merle Raney.
She is survived by her husband, Robert "Bob" Gwin of Fordyce; one daughter, Robbi Gwin of Fordyce; one brother, Marlin Hearne of Fordyce; one sister, Jean Hardman of Fordyce; one grandson, Chad Cash of Fordyce.
Graveside services will be Wednesday at 10 AM at Stoney Point Cemetery near Fordyce with Elder Charles Sandage and Rev. Gene Triplett officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 PM until 6 PM at Benton Funeral Home. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce. To sign the online register visit www.bentonfuneralhome.com .
