Marth Jean Nutt Shaddock

Martha Jean Nutt Shaddock, 68 of Fordyce, died Tuesday, January 6, 2015. She was born December 29, 1946 in Fordyce to Vivanaye Owens Nutt and the late William D. Nutt. She was a retired schoolteacher and a member of Zion Baptist Church of Fordyce.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband James D. Shaddock and brother-in-law Ronnie Tucker.

She is survived by her mother Vivanaye Owens Nutt of Jacinto; her son Brian Shaddock and wife Jennifer of Fordyce; her granddaughter Caitlin Shaddock of Fordyce; her son Brice Shaddock and wife Niki of Fordyce; her grandchildren Owen and Olivia Shaddock of Fordyce; her brother Lynn Nutt and wife Carol of Missouri; her sister Louise Tucker of Benton; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 6PM till 8PM Thursday at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services are 2PM Friday at Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Nick Flowers and Rev. Stan Jones officiating.
