Marlin N. Hearne

Marlin N. Hearne, 83, of Fordyce died Thursday September 15, 2011 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. Born January 26, 1928 in Dallas County, he was a son of the late Ed and Bertha Gill Hearne. Mr. Hearne worked as a logger, a salesman, and served in the U.S. Army. He is preceded in death by three brothers, Raymond Hearne, Judson Hearne, Cecil Hearne; four sisters, Alamerle Raney, Evelyn Gwin, Eddie Mae Lowe, Jeanie Hardman. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Hearne of Fordyce, son, Ron Hearne and wife Barbie of Dallas, TX, two granddaughters, Courtney and Jordan Hearne of Dallas, TX. The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Freddy Boen officiating. Burial will follow at Stoney Point Cemetery.
