Marion Jack Garlington

Marion Jack Garlington, 81, of Sherwood died Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock. He was born August 1, 1930 in Bunn, Arkansas. He was a retired Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force and a retired mail carrier for the United States Post Office. He is preceded in death by his parents, Marion Sill and Norma Sue Keeton Garlington; one brother, Johnnie Garlington; and one sister, Mary Fox. He is survived by one son, Gary Garlington and wife Nichole of Germantown, TN; one daughter, Greta Baker of Salt Lake City, UT; one brother, Buster Garlington and wife Kay of Fordyce; one grandchild, Sophia Garlington of Germantown, TN; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Visitation will be Thursday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Friday at Benton Funeral Home with Rev. John Fimple officiating. Burial at Oakland Cemetery in Fordyce. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce.
