Margie Lee Blann Parker, 83, of Hampton went to be with the Lord Friday, January 16, 2015 at Medical Center of South Arkansas in El Dorado. She was born May 30, 1931 in Calhoun County, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and an active member of Hampton First Assembly of God, where she served as a Sunday school teacher. She is preceded in death by her father Larkin Blann; two brothers Freddy Joe Blann and John Blann. She is survived by her husband Emmett Parker of Hampton; one son Rodney Parker of Hampton; one daughter and son-in-law Debbie and Bobby Mosley of Bearden; mother, Edna Lockridge Blann of Hampton; two sisters Sylvia "Mutt" Parr and Emma Lane "Sook" Ellis and husband Johnny Mac all of Hampton; one grandson Adam Parker and wife Rachel of Hampton; and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday 6:00 pm until at Hampton First Assembly of God Church in Hampton. Funeral services will be Monday 2:00 pm at Hampton First Assembly of God with Rev. Rickey Smith, Rev. Dell Carr, and Rev. Glenn McClung officiating. Burial will follow at Union Grove Cemetery. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce.
