Macel Linzy Loomis

Macel Linzy Loomis, 92 of New Edinburg died Friday April 24, 2026 at St. John’s place in Fordyce. Born November 27, 1933, she was a daughter of the late John Sandine and Flora Moody. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Lee Linzy and Bill Loomis; daughters, Jeanette Gray and Kathy Saeler; son, Randy Linzy; grandsons, Steven Linzy and John Linzy; great great-granddaughter, Amelia Marie Stanford; sister, Peggy Cullipher Mahurin; and brothers, William Sandine, JL Sandine and Tommy Sandine.

She is survived by a daughter, Amanda Cook (Bobby); daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Linzy; grandchildren, Scotty Gray (Hope), Laura Hammack (Jimmy), Tony Gambill (Jennifer), Mike Gambill (Lindsay), Jennifer Mercy (Graham), Dakota Saeler (Katelyn); thirteen great-grandchildren and eleven great great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel.
