Macel Christine "Chris" Means

Macel Christine “Chris” Means, 86 of Hampton passed away on December 3, 2020 at St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 16, 1933 to the late Howard Jones and Lucy Adele Parnell Jones.
She was preceded in death by her parents; step-mother, Lola Mae Jones; husband, Raymond “Rusty” Means; daughter, Patricia Barfell; one brother, Kenneth Jones and two sisters, Polly Jones and Jane Earnest.
She is survived by one son, Mike Means and his wife Barbara of Hampton; one brother, Charles Jones of Banks; three granddaughters, Sami Daniell and husband Colby of Hampton, Tiffany Lucas and husband Jonathan of Hampton, and Savannah Means and her fiancée Kaleb Belin of Hampton; great grandchildren, Kennedi, Hensley, and Hudson Daniell and Bentley and Cayden Lucas all of Hampton; friend and caretaker, Bertie Coleman of Hampton.
Visitation will be Sunday December 6, 2020 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Victory Baptist Church in Hampton. Graveside services will be 1 PM Monday December 7, 2020 at Means Cemetery outside of Hampton with Rickey Smith officiating. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
